Morokanella

This white variety is harvested at Panayia and has been found at vines of Chrysorroyiatissa Monastery. The wine tasted had a pretty yellow colour and pleasant taste. The top of the shoots is white and fluffy. The adult leaves are orbiculate, lightly pearly, 5-7 lobed with broad concave lateral sinuses. The petiolar sinus is narrow lyre shape with often 1 or 2 teeth inside. The teeth are pointed, very narrow. The clusters are average, conical, loosely packed with one or two side clusters. The grapes are ovate, large, golden yellow with a firm flesh.
